I went over & hung out with V last night. We had the sole intentions of getting completely shit faced & watching movies. One of the dudes he tattoos on a regular basis showed up & V agreed to do some work for him. It's pretty awesome watching him tattoo, how into it he gets. So, I'm flipping through his books just keeping myself occupied trying to to disturb the process. V tells me to look for something to add to or cover up the tattoo on my left shoulder blade (This tattoo was my first & was my wedding present from my ex-husband). I find another moon I like & figure hey maybe he can cover the old one up with this one. Well we decided to put it next to it & he'll spice up the old tattoo to make it look better. We did the outline last night & decided to take a break and do the shading & coloring on it today sometime. I went to the mirror to admire his work & he was close behind, in the process we decide the details to my whole back piece.

I've been wanting to get an astronomy related tattoo across the top of my back for awhile but could never figure out how I wanted to place things. We're going to put two suns on my right shoulder blade, a small one about the size of my small moon then a larger one about the size of my large moon. We're going to take a shooting star and lace it in between the moons & suns, like have the star at the bottom somewhere and have the tail of the shooting star curve from the base of my neck area maybe to the right... down my spine. Then we are going to add a bunch of little stars in different colors. He has an eye for good artwork & is damn good at placing things. So I'm excited to see how the end result turns out. Tonight before we start the shading I'll have Van take a picture of the outline & then I'll find an old picture of my tattoo... I'll post the beginning, the middle, and the end result to the beginning of my back piece.

I've missed the feeling of getting a tattoo, most think I'm crazy when I say that but it's so addicting. The sound of the gun is soothing in itself. *Sigh* I think I scored good with this one, want to know how much this work of art is going to cost me NOTHING. My little moon was $120, I'm getting so much more for no charge at all.
